Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We are looking for a Structured Cabling Engineer / Managed Services Engineer to join our dynamic team! This is an exciting opportunity to work onsite at customer locations in and around Hampshire, Surrey, and Berkshire , with the potential for travel away from home.

If you have experience in the Fibre/Data/Voice arena and are eager to grow your skill set, this position is for you! You will be part of a supportive team, tackling a variety of tasks including installations and break-fix solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Safety First: Always operate in a safe manner, adhering to NG Bailey's Health & Safety policies.
  • Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with all NG Bailey’s policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Quality Assurance: Deliver work that meets and exceeds client expectations while following vendor and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Material Management: Keep track of materials and maintain accurate records of deliveries and project stock.
  • Reporting: Provide timely and accurate internal and customer project reporting (timesheets, mileage returns, daily reports, completion certificates).
  • Relationship Building: Maintain positive relationships with customers through efficient project delivery.
  • Installation Standards: Ensure all installations meet internal specifications and statutory requirements.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience with fibre and copper cabling , as well as data and voice systems.
  • Proven ability to locate and rectify faults.
  • Experience working in live customer environments .
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Willingness to work away from home and during out-of-hours.
Important Notes
  • Security Clearance: Required for this role; we will assist you in obtaining it.
  • Driving License: A valid driving license is necessary.
