Are you tired of the OTR grind? At GFL, we prioritize your life outside the cab. We are looking for a safety-minded Residential Driver to join our Chesapeake team at 3821 Cook Blvd. If you have your CDL and a "get it done" attitude, we want to talk to you.

• Home Daily: No more sleeping in a cab. Get your routes done and get home to your family every single night.

• Stability: Waste removal is an essential service. We offer year-round, steady work—not seasonal "gig" driving.

• Active Work: This isn't just a steering wheel job. You’ll stay active, utilize hydraulic systems, and manage your route like a pro.

• Local Impact: You’ll be serving your neighbors in the Chesapeake area, keeping our community clean and safe.

• The Daily Route: Safely operate side-load or rear-load trucks to collect residential waste/recycling.

• Safety First: Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure your rig is in top shape.

• Community Face: Provide courteous service to our customers while maintaining high route quality standards.

• Efficiency: Work closely with your supervisor to find the best, most efficient ways to navigate your territory.

• License: A valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

• Experience: At least 1 year of commercial driving experience OR a certificate from an accredited CDL school.

• Physicality: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively and handle the physical demands of an outdoor route.

• Focus: A clean driving record and a commitment to safety-sensitive functions.
