As a General Manager (GM), you’ll provide reliable financial solutions to help customers manage everyday challenges. What We Offer:

This position has an hourly pay rate of $19.25 and is eligible for performance bonuses. 

Thecompensation listedrepresentsthe base pay for this position, which is just one of the many elements of our Total Compensation package.

What We’re Looking For – Qualifications and Skills:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimumtwoyears’ experiencewithproven success in a supervisory or leadership role in retail, finance, service, or related industries.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiencyin usingphones, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems.
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday (mileage compensated).
  • Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).
  • Background checkrequired. All background checks are conducted, and their results are considered,in accordance withapplicable law.
  • The abilityto meet the physical demands of this position, whichfrequentlyincludesremainingin a stationary position, including standing up to 90% of the time;movingand transportingup to 25 pounds;movinginside and outside of the store;and operatingmechanical controls, such as a keyboard.

Nice to Haves– PreferredQualifications and Skills

  • Associates degree or higher.
  • Experience incheckcashing, document verification, moneyorder processing.
  • Bilingual(English/Spanish)is a plus and may berequiredfor certain locations.
What You’ll Do - Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage overall store performance by meeting or exceeding Company performance standards.
  • Coach, lead, and develop allteam memberstobuildnew business and increase store growth bydemonstratingknowledge of and training on systems, Company standards, account management, recovery (collections), job duties, and performance reports. 
  • Lead the charge for allteam memberstoidentifylocal marketing strategies, use business-to-business partnership opportunities, obtain referrals, host andparticipatein community and in-store events to steer growth and build revenue. 
  • Examine, evaluate, and process loan/pawn applications and all relevant transactions, and assess risk within established limits. 
  • Enforce adherence to quality standards, procedures, and local and state laws and regulations. 
  • Participate in audits and compliance reviews as directed by the corporate office or District Manager. 
  • Supervise andmaintainoffice security including cash management and loss prevention by verifying and documenting cash overages/shortages,vault, inventory, deposits, and expenses. 
  • Conduct proper opening and closing procedures and trainnew staffin keyholder duties. 
  • Participate in theselection, review, hiring, and retention of new employees. 
  • Develop work schedulesin accordance withbudget, workloads, and store needs. Ensure the store is staffed foroptimalperformance.
  • Handle complex customer situations that arise with integrity and professionalism. 
  • Monitor andmaintaininternal and external store appearance and address basic facilityneeds, including scheduling maintenance services.  This includes overseeing the store planogram and ensuring seasonal and/or promotional marketing material are displayed properly.  
  • Perform duties outside of the office, when applicable, includingon sitevehicle appraisals, store errands, and external marketing.
  • Work efficiently in a rapidly changing and fast-paced environment and handle multiple challenging tasks with ease to meet individual and team performance standards. 
  • Conductadditionaltasks as directed by leadership.
  • Maintain a full-time work schedule with regular, in-person attendance, including weekends. A full-time work schedule for this position includes, at a minimum,40 hoursperweek.*
