Software Test Engineer (m/w/d)

The domain "Integration Test and Analysis" is part of the centre of competence "Flight and Integration Test Centre". The focus is working on the verification and integration of (sub-)systems on test bench and aircraft level and, at a progressive rate, on combinations of various test levels (System of Systems testing), basically in all areas of avionics integration. The jobholder works as a Test Engineer for Avionics Integration (d/f/m)

• Review of avionic system requirements and design
• Definition of test cases and scenarios for the verification of the system requirements
• Development of test procedures and test scripts
• Conduction of system integration tests in avionic rigs
• Analysis of test results/data and reporting, including deviations and system problem reports

Studium:

Informatik mind. Master / Diplom-Studiengang

Ingenieurwesen mind. Master / Diplom-Studiengang 

Luft- und Raumfahrt mind. Master / Diplom-Studiengang 

or a comparable vocational education 

• relevant advanced trainings followed by several years of relevant experience
• Luft- und Raumfahrt mind. über 2 Jahre
• Good knowledge of avionic systems is required
• Any knowledge on mission systems, datalinks and sensors is especially valuable
• Any professional experience in integration and testing activities is an advantage
• Englisch mind. verhandlungssicher
• Good command of the German language would be a plus
• IT Programming skills (ideally Python, ATL, C/C++)
• Weitere Qualifikationen International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) Certification, as well as knowledge in the field of software testing would be a plus
