We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques and be proficient in performing diagnostic evaluations. Prefer experience with a c-arm.
*Responsibilities*
* Perform various imaging procedures.
* Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to determine the appropriate imaging techniques based on patient needs.
* Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of imaging results for diagnostic evaluation.
* Operate imaging equipment with precision while ensuring patient comfort and safety during procedures.
* Stay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and participate in ongoing education to enhance skills.
* Assist in the training of new staff members or students as needed, fostering a collaborative work environment.
*Qualifications*
* Certification as a Radiologic Technologist from an accredited program.
* Strong knowledge of medical terminology and physiology relevant to radiologic practices.
* Experience working in an Operating Room setting is preferred.
* Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes and emergency medicine protocols.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
* Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in healthcare.
