*Position Summary*
We are seeking a *dedicated and motivated Endocrinology Physician Assistant* to join our specialty team. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping patients manage and improve chronic endocrine and metabolic conditions through education, prevention, and ongoing care.
This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced endocrinologists in a supportive, collegial environment that encourages learning, professional growth, and clinical independence.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Conduct comprehensive assessments and follow-up care for patients with endocrine disorders such as diabetes, thyroid disease, and metabolic syndrome.
* Order, interpret, and manage laboratory and diagnostic tests.
* Collaborate closely with supervising physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans.
* Provide patient education on lifestyle modification, disease management, and medication adherence.
* Maintain accurate documentation using the EMR system, with optional AI or virtual scribe assistance.
* Participate in ongoing quality improvement and clinical best practice initiatives.
* Offer patients applicable ongoing support such as embedded Behavioral Health, Registered Dietitian, RPM, and Patient Engagement Outreach.
*Qualifications*
* Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
* Current *New York State PA license* in good standing.
* Prior experience in *Endocrinology required : minimum 1 year*
* Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills in managing endocrine disorders.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care.
