HV/LV Fitter

Location: UK Wide - Basildon, Yorkshire, North East, Scotland

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We are on the lookout for talented HV/LV Fitters to join our dynamic Freedom team! With exciting ongoing and upcoming projects, this is your chance to work with all the DNOs across Great Britain and make a real impact.

As an HV/LV Fitter, you will be at the forefront of installing and constructing electrical power distribution and transmission systems ranging from 400V to 132kV. You’ll be part of a dedicated site-based team, delivering high-quality, safe, and fit-for-purpose networks across various DNO regions.

• Recognised electrical or mechanical qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, ONC, 18th Edition).
• Hands-on experience with hand tools and electrical/mechanical systems.
• Prior experience on HV substation sites, including open Busbar environments.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution systems.
• Desirable: SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
• Desirable: UKPN, SSE, or SPEN Authorisations (or ability to attain).
