Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into an impactful contract opportunity supporting students in the Houston area as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist. This role is designed for SLP-CCC professionals eager to make a difference through focused therapy services, exclusively providing make-up sessions—no ARDs or evaluations required. This streamlined responsibility allows you to maximize direct student interaction, helping them achieve communication goals and thrive in their academic environment. Enjoy the structure of a school-based calendar with a workday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, including a 30-minute lunch. The contract begins August 3, 2026 and runs through May 27, 2027, offering consistency and stability throughout the academic year. Caseload details and assigned school locations will be provided before your start date. Essential Qualifications:Current, active SLP-CCC licenseExperience in a school setting preferredPassion for supporting student successAbility to deliver effective make-up therapy sessionsMust complete district fingerprinting/background check prior to start Key Responsibilities:Provide high-quality, evidence-based make-up therapy to studentsCollaborate with school staff and families to support student progressMaintain timely documentation according to district guidelinesAdapt therapy approaches to meet individual student needsCommunicate effectively and contribute to a positive school environment This is a rewarding opportunity to work a full-time, 37.5-hour week, closely aligned with the academic calendar—giving you the benefit of school breaks and the satisfaction of helping students grow.
