Activity Assistant

Spring Mill Pointe, is hiring a part time & per diem Activity Assistant to join our team!

Schedule: Part Time- Every Other Weekend 

Shift: 9-5pm

Pay: $17 - $18 per hour

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and leading daily activities, programs, and special events.
• Encourage resident participation and create a welcoming atmosphere at all activities.
• Support the development of individualized approaches for residents with diverse needs, including those living with cognitive impairment.
• Help prepare activity materials, set up and clean up spaces, and maintain an organized activity environment.
• Contribute ideas and feedback to improve program quality and resident satisfaction.

Experience and Education

• High school Level diploma, GED or equivalent knowledge or experience is preferred.
• One year of experience in recreational activities preferred. Vocational/technical training that includes care of elderly with dementia desired; equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities preferred 
• CPR certification is a plus
