Job Description
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. With a school-year schedule and consistent hours, you’ll help empower young learners to achieve their communication goals. Primary qualifications include:Valid, active SLP license requiredBilingual proficiency in English and SpanishPrevious experience in a school-based SLP setting strongly preferredMust complete district-required fingerprinting/background check prior to startExceptional communication and organizational abilitiesFlexibility to adapt to varying assignments and caseloads In this engaging role, your responsibilities will involve:Providing speech and language services to students of varying ages, as assignedDeveloping and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needsConducting thorough assessments, progress monitoring, and documentation in accordance with school and state guidelinesCollaborating with educators, administrators, and families to foster student achievement and growthDelivering therapy on a full-time schedule: Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week, following the academic calendarParticipating in IEP meetings and related team planning to support student outcomes Envision a workday where you foster connections with students, advocate for effective communication, and grow professionally surrounded by dedicated colleagues.
