We are collaborating with schools and local authorities in your area, seeking passionate Core Subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEND Tutors and Teachers. Requirements for the SEND Tutor and Teacher Role:
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD.
  • Subjects: Familiarity in teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).
  • Compliance: Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate this if needed) and 2+ professional references.
  • Location: Must be based in the UK with the right to work, even for remote roles.
  • Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding practices and creating a safe learning environment.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Provide in-person, online, or hybrid tuition in Maths, English, or Science to children and young people with SEMH and SEND needs.
  • Support pupils from KS1 to KS5, planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
  • Plan lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
