Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician

At NG Bailey Facilities Services , we’re on the lookout for a talented Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic onsite team at Drake Circus, Plymouth. If you’re a qualified Engineer with a passion for delivering exceptional service, we want to hear from you!

As a key member of our team, you will provide top-notch Mechanical, Electrical, and Building Fabric maintenance to our shopping centre. Your flexibility will be essential to support retail opening hours, with a standard working pattern that includes:

• Monday to Friday: 07:00 – 15:00
• One weekend in every three (with the following Monday and Tuesday off)
• One week in three working late shifts: 12:00 – 20:00

• Deliver a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Program for Electrical/Mechanical systems in line with agreed SLAs.
• Perform PPM and reactive maintenance on HVAC systems, pumps, and associated mechanical systems.
• Cost and complete remedial works identified through PPM tasks.
• Carry out Electrical/Installation work in compliance with National Working Regulations.
• Maintain premises to an exceptionally high standard, managing Reactive Works as needed.
• Complete all required documentation and job sheets promptly.
• Participate in the team rota as the site Duty Engineer, including weekend shifts.

We seek a well-rounded Technician with strong Electrical or Mechanical expertise, dedicated to delivering high standards of service in a live commercial environment. You should have:

• A completed Electrical or Mechanical Apprenticeship (preferred but not essential).
• City & Guilds Electrical or Mechanical discipline competency Parts 1 & 2 or equivalent.
• 18th Edition IEE Regulations (if Electrical).
• Familiarity with SFG20 and related Reactive Work.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, air handling units, and water treatment (if Mechanical).
• Practical experience in PPMs and routine repairs.
• IOSH Working/Managing Safely (desirable).
• Experience with safe work procedures (PTW; RAMS, etc.) (desirable).
• L8 Training (desirable).
