Methodist Health System is seeking a compassionate and patient-centered Physical Therapist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team, providing high-quality rehabilitative care to patients across our hospitals and clinics in Texas. In this role, you will evaluate and treat patients with a variety of orthopedic, neurological, surgical, and medical conditions, designing individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that help restore function, reduce pain, and improve quality of life. Working within a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment that emphasizes integrity, compassion, and accountability, you will partner closely with physicians, nurses, occupational and speech therapists, case managers, and other members of the care team to ensure safe, coordinated, and timely patient care. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive patient assessments, setting measurable functional goals, implementing manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, providing gait and balance training, educating patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention, and documenting all care accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record. You will monitor progress, adjust treatment plans based on clinical response and best practices, and contribute to discharge planning and recommendations for equipment or continued therapy. Methodist Health System supports a collaborative and inclusive culture, and as a Physical Therapist you will be expected to communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, and colleagues, demonstrate cultural sensitivity, and uphold high standards of clinical excellence and patient safety. This position is primarily on-site in a clinical or hospital setting and may involve rotating schedules, including some evenings or weekends, to meet patient and department needs.
