Job Description
We are seeking an experiences estimator/salesperson to drive new construction and ADU sales. This position requires a motivate and driven individual who can seek and pursue opportunities. The sales person will be responsible for estimating the projects and, therefore, must have extensive construction experience and knowledge. This position is commission-based only. Responsibilities:
* Meet or exceed sales goals; * Meet with customers to build relationships and sell jobs; * Generate at a minimum of 1.5 million dollars in revenue in 12-month period; * Complete weekly and monthly sales reports in a timely manner; * Maintain customer database; * Consistent, effective involvement in trade shows, community and networking organizations participate in networking activities and events; * Estimate project costs, under direction of ownership.
Requirements:
* Excellent networking and relationship building skills; * Strong sales acumen. Presentable and trustworthy; * Strong sales performance track record; * Must hold a valid driver's license; * Great organization and planning ability; * Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
* 5+ years' experience in residential construction sales or estimating required. * Strong math and analytic skills * Ability to liaise between departments / subs / vendors / suppliers to put together all required information to carry out prescribed duties. * Knowledge of current residential construction methods and building codes. * Strong, positive communication and customer service skills. * Highly motivated, honest, dependable, solid work ethic. * Familiar with sub trades * Must be able to read blueprints and construction drawings. * Computer literate; proficient with Excel, Word, Power Point.
