Mechanical Design Engineer . Responsibilities Accountable for the completion of 3D modelling, detail design, technical calculations, and product development as assigned by management utilising the internal software and tools. Coordinate and mentor the Designer Engineers, whilst maintaining responsibility for Projects within specific areas, working closely with Project Engineers to reach assigned target. Develop the layout of areas of equipment, proposal layout, basic engineering of new mechanical equipment based on Customer requests. Carry out complex mechanical calculations. Oversee Design Engineers during detail engineering stage. Continuous monitoring on project progress, identify any areas of concern, escalate where necessary and manage customer expectations. Coordinate inputs to ensure a winning strategy is clearly communicated and documented. On time delivery of technical documents; in the desired medium (portal upload and/or electronic/hard copies, etc).
