Über
As a Physical Therapist with Methodist Health System, you will perform comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, and deliver treatments that may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, gait and balance training, neuromuscular re-education, pain management strategies, and functional mobility training. You will regularly reassess patient progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and clearly communicate goals and outcomes with patients, families, and the care team. You will also provide detailed education on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and safe mobility to support a successful transition from hospital or clinic to home and community settings.
You will be responsible for accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record, adherence to regulatory and professional standards, and active participation in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. Drawing from Methodist Health System’s collaborative and inclusive culture, you will contribute to team huddles, case conferences, and care coordination efforts, ensuring that each patient receives a seamless, patient-centered experience. You may rotate across a variety of settings, such as acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient services, providing opportunities to broaden your clinical skills and engage with patients across the continuum of care.
