We are seeking a Senior Digital Art Director with deep expertise in enterprise-scale website redesigns and a proven ability to lead visual design innovations across complex digital ecosystems. This role is ideal for someone who combines strategic design leadership with hands-on mastery of Figma, particularly in building, scaling, and governing design systems.

As a Senior Digital Art Director, you will drive the creative vision and execution of large-scale web redesign projects - collaborating with UX designers, developers, content strategists, and business stakeholders. You will ensure that every digital experience is not only visually striking, but also consistent, scalable, and aligned with business and user needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the creative direction and visual design of enterprise website redesigns, ensuring consistency, innovation, and excellence.
• Develop, maintain, and evolve enterprise-level design systems in Figma, ensuring scalability and governance across multiple client teams and client initiatives.
• Partner with UX, content, and development teams to translate strategy and wireframes into compelling design solutions.
• Ensure all design deliverables align with client brand guidelines while pushing the boundaries of digital creativity.
• Oversee the production and QA of responsive design assets, ensuring pixel-perfect implementation.
• Mentor and guide junior designers, raising the overall design quality and capabilities of the team.
• Advocate for design best practices, accessibility standards, and responsive/mobile-first design principles.
• Present creative concepts and solutions persuasively to stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Stay ahead of digital design trends, emerging tools, and innovations in Figma and design systems.
• Maintain a current list of inspiration websites (for visual language) to be used in client and internal team conversations.
• Nerd-out on the theory and practice of illustration, photography, data visualization, and effective typography.
• Have Gestalt design principles at your fingertips and be able to use them in conversations with clients.

Required Qualifications

• 7–10 years of professional digital design experience, with a strong portfolio showing enterprise website redesign projects.
• Absolute expertise in Figma : advanced proficiency with components, variants, atomic component reuse, auto-layout, variables, modes, prototyping, and collaboration features.
• Deep experience in design system creation, annotation, governance, and maintenance within Figma.
• Strong understanding of UX principles, responsive design, and accessibility best practices.
• Experience working closely with developers to ensure design-to-code accuracy (both in layout and intent).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and inspire stakeholders.
• Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring design teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in design agency, professional services, consulting, or large-scale corporate environments.
• Familiarity with enterprise CMS platforms (e.g., Sitecore, Content Stack, Optimizely).
• Knowledge of design operations, governance frameworks, or marketing technology ecosystems.
