*End User Support Technician (Junior) – Reading (On-site/Hybrid)*
We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who wants to kick-start their career in IT support within a fast-paced, growing business. This is an exciting opportunity to join our IT team as the first point of contact for all end user technical queries, gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of systems and technologies.
This role is ideal for someone at the beginning of their IT journey who is eager to learn, develop, and build a strong foundation in technical support while delivering excellent internal customer service.
*What You’ll Do*
* Provide first-line technical support to end users, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
* Manage password resets and user account administration
* Support and maintain our CRM platform (SugarCRM), including basic troubleshooting and user assistance
* Assist with day-to-day Microsoft 365 tools including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and SharePoint
* Diagnose and resolve basic ICT issues across hardware, software, networking, and peripherals
* Log, track, and manage support tickets through the helpdesk system, escalating where necessary
* Set up and configure new user devices and support onboarding processes
* Maintain clear communication with users throughout issue resolution
*What We’re Looking For*
* A foundational understanding of IT/ICT systems and technologies
* Basic familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications
* Exposure to CRM systems is beneficial (SugarCRM experience is a plus, but not essential)
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn
* Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple requests
*Qualifications*
* A-Levels, BTEC, or equivalent in an IT-related subject — or relevant work experience
