Java Backend Developer (all genders)

In this role, you will actively create innovative embedded software for high-tech cars in direct collaboration with renowned car manufacturers, offering the opportunity to drive innovation and redefine the possibilities of embedded software in the automotive industry.
Both full-time and part-time positions are available.
Your Mission
As a Java Developer you work will enable the realization of cutting-edge features and advancements in connectivity, automation, and over-the-air updates in millions of vehicles. Your goal in this position is to leverage your expertise in Java development, build systems, and Linux OS to design and create innovative applications that enhance IoT capabilities in high-tech cars

What awaits you
You are responsible for the development and architecture of applications for the IoT.
Additionally, you work in a broad spectrum, starting with IoT applications in the automobile environment and continuing to network protocols and scalable back-end systems.
You build up a test framework, perform Unit and Integration Testing and analyze your software directly at road tests.
What we are looking forward to
Expertise in development of Java17 and Build Systems (e.g. Gradle, Maven, Ant) as well as advanced knowledge of Linux OS, AWS, or Kubernetes.
Know-how of database systems and a basic understanding of network protocols (e.g. TCP, HTTP, MQTT).
Fluent English or German Skills.
