Good Samaritan is seeking a compassionate and skilled LPN FT Day to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team providing comprehensive care to underserved communities. As a full-time day-shift Licensed Practical Nurse, you will deliver direct patient care in collaboration with RNs, providers, and an interdisciplinary team, supporting our holistic model of health and wellness. You will perform patient assessments within LPN scope, obtain vital signs, administer medications and injections, provide treatments and wound care, assist with diagnostic procedures, and support chronic disease management and preventive care. You will help coordinate patient flow, prepare patients for exams, collect specimens, accurately document care and patient histories in the electronic medical record, and support safe discharge and follow-up plans. In this mission-driven environment, you will educate patients and families on medications, treatment plans, and lifestyle changes, promoting health literacy and self-management. You will uphold infection control and safety standards, maintain a clean and organized clinical setting, and ensure compliance with clinic protocols, regulatory requirements, and scope-of-practice guidelines. This role requires strong communication and collaboration skills as you partner with physicians, nurse practitioners, RNs, behavioral health, and social services to deliver team-based care centered on compassion, integrity, and community engagement. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient or community health setting, and committed to addressing health disparities and improving meaningful patient outcomes. Good Samaritan offers a supportive, collaborative culture with opportunities for professional growth, ongoing clinical training, and participation in quality improvement initiatives. As an LPN FT Day, you will be an integral part of our mission to serve, supporting wellness for individuals and families who may otherwise have limited access to care.
