A leading nuclear engineering company is looking for a principal mechanical engineer to join the team on a long term contract basis for some of their most exciting projects in the nuclear space. Job Role - Principal Mechanical EngineerLocation - BristolContract Length - 12 MonthsPay Rates - Up To £75 hour Inside IR35 This role will be perfect for a well experienced and knowledgeable principal mechanical engineer who has vast time spent in the highly regulated fields and sectors associated. Key Competencies: Understand concepts and principles, shapes, designs, developments and determines a solution to functional issuesA full knowledge and understanding of all health and safety mattersWork as the subject matters expert and mechanical engineering specialistTechnically manage the scope of engineering to ensure it meets project quality requirements and deadlinesEnsure that procedures, codes and standards are correctly identified and applied to engineering and technical activitiesEnsure adequate review, verification and approvals are undertaken on all deliverablesEnsure you are supervising engineers and technical specialists to align with project scope Essential Qualifications: Engineering degree in a relevant field with significant demonstratable experience.Chartership (Desired)Time spent in managing teamsExperience covering a wide range tasks across a range complexities.
