Responsibilities

  • Design and implement VR
    interactions
    ,
    environments
    ,
    and
    tools in Unreal Engine 5
  • Collaborate with researchers, designers, and mental health experts to translate concepts into VR prototypes
  • Develop UI/UX and immersive storytelling elements for therapeutic contexts
  • Create and optimize tech art solutions (materials, shaders, lighting, VFX) for immersion and performance
  • Ensure VR performance runs smoothly on target hardware
  • Contribute ideas to improve user experience in sensitive, therapeutic VR applications

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of
    Unreal Engine 5
    (Blueprints & C++)
  • Strong Skills in VR development (previous projects, portfolio, or coursework)
  • Strong skills in gameplay programming, tech art, or tools development
  • Good understanding of VR performance optimization
  • Ability to collaborate in an interdisciplinary team (engineering, art, research, clinical experts)

Bonus: experience in human-computer interaction, serious games, or healthcare applications
