Job Objectives: The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the sales team (Openers & Closers) to drive revenue growth, exceed sales targets, and enhance customer acquisition strategies. This role involves setting sales goals, developing strategies, coaching and mentoring account managers and telemarketing teams, and ensuring a high-performance culture. The Sales Manager collaborates with various departments to align sales strategies with business objectives while maintaining compliance and ethical standards. Responsibilities and duties: 1. Sales Strategy & Business Development Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion. Identify new business opportunities and establish strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to optimize sales strategies. 2. Team Leadership & Performance Management Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets. Conduct regular coaching sessions, performance evaluations, and training programs to enhance sales capabilities. Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, ensuring engagement and professional development. 3. Sales Process Optimization & Compliance Continuously review and refine sales processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Ensure adherence to company policies, compliance requirements, and ethical sales practices. Establish and monitor KPIs and metrics for sales performance, implementing corrective actions when necessary. 4. Client Relationship Management Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded. Oversee the customer journey from initial contact to post-sale follow-ups, enhancing the customer experience. Address client concerns promptly and collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service. 5. Cross-Department Collaboration & Communication Work closely with marketing, operations, and customer service teams to align sales strategies with broader business objectives. Provide regular insights and reports to senior management on sales performance, trends, and improvement opportunities. Ensure effective communication of business goals, updates, and expectations across the sales team. 6. Reporting & Financial Management Develop and manage the sales department budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation. Analyze sales reports and key performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for growth. Present findings and recommendations to leadership to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
Years of Experience: 5-7 years of experience, including minimum 4 in sales management, preferably within a call center or financial services industry Competencies / Behavioral Requirements: Strong leadership abilities with a focus on coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach to meeting and exceeding targets. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Technical Requirements: Familiarity with sales automation tools and CRM platforms. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools. Strong understanding of sales forecasting and revenue management. Communication and Interaction: Reports to: Head of Sales Works with: Marketing, Operations, Customer Service, and Finance departments Subordinates: Sales Team Leads and Sales Representatives
