Do you enjoy planning engaging activities and making a positive impact in people’s lives? Join our team as an Activities Coordinator and bring your creativity and energy to individuals with developmental disabilities in a supportive, fun environment.
What You’ll Do
- Plan and lead group and individual recreational activities based on each individual’s interests and abilities
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create meaningful, person-centered programs
- Provide guidance and support to staff on activity delivery and engagement techniques
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all individuals served
- Maintain curriculum binders with age-appropriate, engaging activities
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Activity Coordinator certification preferred
- Valid drivers license with clear driving record
- At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Must be bilingual in Spanish
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented
- Ability to complete required state trainings within set timeframes
