A career as a Senior Data Engineering Developer within the Corporate Data (EIN/ODS) team at National Bank means acting as a specialist in data development and integration. This role allows you to have a positive impact on our organization through your expertise in ETL flow design and your interest in evolving technology environments.  


Your role


  • Develop, test, and maintain complex ETL flows using IBM DataStage
  • Develop, test, and maintain Java-based microservices
  • Participate in the modernization of data platforms and progressively integrate AWS services and AI into our processes
  • Collaborate with architecture, analytics, and production teams to ensure solution quality and performance
  • Optimize data processing and automate workflows through CI/CD pipelines
  • Provide level‑2 support during and outside regular business hours (as needed)

The IT Vice-Presidency brings together over 4,500 specialists working in an agile, proactive, and collaborative manner to seize opportunities, stay at the forefront of technology, and continuously improve processes.

  Within the Corporate Services, Data, and Operational Risk sector, you will be part of a large team of 18 colleagues and report to the Director, Asset Management. Our team stands out for its spirit of innovation and collaboration. We are responsible for evolving the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EIN) and the Operational Data Stores (ODS). The environment is collaborative, agile, and innovation‑driven. You will have the opportunity to work with colleagues with diverse expertise and contribute to large‑scale projects in a rapidly transforming technological context.

  Requirements


  • A university certificate with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s or master’s degree with equivalent experience in data development
  • Significant experience in ETL development within complex data environments
  • Proficiency in IBM DataStage, as well as the Java programming language, and strong command of SQL
  • Good knowledge of relational and non-relational databases
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to quality, and the ability to structure effective technical solutions
  • A collaborative mindset, autonomy, and adaptability in a constantly evolving technology environment
