Contract: 12-month fixed term, part-time (3 days per week), term time only
Salary: £21,257.48 - £23,232.69 (pro rata: £12,754.48 - £13,938.62)

Your Role and ResponsibilitiesAs a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support one pupil or a small group (maximum six) to enhance their learning experience.
- Assist the classroom teacher during lessons to ensure smooth delivery.
- Report on pupil progress and concerns, collaborating with school staff.
- Supervise pupils during non-classroom activities and trips.
- Help with lesson planning and preparation to create engaging content.
- Set work and mark assignments where appropriate.
- Build positive relationships to support learning outcomes.
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A strong educational background (minimum GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths) and solid IT skills.
- Experience in a similar role (teaching assistant experience is desirable).
- Experience supporting pupils with SEMH in an educational setting.
- The ability to take responsibility for areas such as food hygiene, forest school, or activities.
- Experience in behaviour management.
- A commitment to professional development and growth.
- A willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.

The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, with the cost covered by Polaris Community.
