A Lead Carpenter will work direct with one of our very experienced Project Managers in daily jobsite operations for high-end residential remodeling and additions. This would include, but is not limited to, coordination with subcontractors, scheduling them accordingly and on site quality control. All of these tasks will be performed while putting the above required skill sets into motion on the production of the project. It is preferred that the candidate has experience in remodeling and renovations as well as new construction. This is preferred but not required.
A HomeMasons candidate should have the following skill sets and the minimum respective experience levels:
* Rough Carpentry (framing) : 10 yrs
* Electrical Work: Basic Knowledge
* Plumbing Work: Basic Knowledge
* Drywall Install and Finish: 10 yrs
* Priming & Painting: 10 yrs
* Doors and Windows: 10 yrs
* Finish Carpentry (interior & exterior trim, cabinets, millwork, bookcases, etc.): 10 yrs
* Reading Blueprints/ Architectural Drawings & Designs: 10 yrs.
A HomeMasons candidate should possess, at a minimum, the following in order to accomplish the production goals of any given day:
* Vehicle: Should be a reliable truck or a van large enough to transport tools, equipment AND materials. Preferably with a ladder rack.
* Basic Hand Tools: Tape measure, speed square, hammer, utility knife, torpedo level,
5-in-1, screwdriver, snips, chalk line, etc.
* Power Tools: Circular saw, sawzall, isolating tool, impact driver, drill/hammer drill, router, jigsaw, trim nailer, chop box (preferred) and table saw (preferred)
