Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No previous experience allowed for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Renown Health and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Renown Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Must have 2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience. Cath and EP experience in both scrubbing and panning the X-Ray table.

Required Credentials: - State of Nevada Radiation Control Program License.

Unit Details: - Produces diagnostic images while providing patient care in the Diagnostic Interventional Department. - Patient population includes neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. - Operates interventional imaging equipment and related machinery and verifies and executes physician orders for diagnostic and therapeutic exams. - Performs as first assist to the interventional cardiologist, vascular surgeon, or interventional radiologist; sets up sterile trays and maintains room sterility. - Additional responsibilities include circulating, manipulation of drains and lines, suturing, billing and filming, supplies stocking, charting, and quality improvement studies.

Shift & Scheduling: - 4x10 rotating shifts, Monday-Friday. - 1 night of weekday call and 1 weekend call shift on Saturday and Sunday every 5 weeks. - Will be required to pick up 1 additional shift during the schedule period. - Schedule varies based on department needs and can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts.

Floating Requirements: - Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level. - May be required to assist other modalities within the department or Renown Health System.

7 days maximum time off

2 references required from within the last 2 years

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• (R) (Registered Technologist - Radiography) or the alternative certification RCIS (Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI))

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
