Tableau Cloud Architect / Data Visualization Lead
to shape and optimize a scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise data visualization landscape.
This pivotal role involves defining governance frameworks, establishing architectural foundations for Tableau Cloud, and leading the migration from a current on-premise Tableau environment hosted on AWS.
Responsibilities
Create and implement a strategic vision for leveraging Tableau across various business scenarios
Establish standardized data visualization frameworks to ensure consistency and accuracy
Develop and enforce reference architectures for performance, security and compliance
Manage the migration roadmap from on-premise Tableau to Tableau Cloud
Configure Tableau Cloud, including Dev/Prod environments, SSO/SAML, SCIM, and Azure AD integration
Administer custom domains, Tableau Mobile and governance of themes and visual identity
Enhance security measures, including extract encryption and key rotation
Integrate Tableau with Databricks Medallion architecture, streaming pipelines and BigEye DQ & Observability
Support retail teams by delivering MIS reports and KPI dashboards
Automate Azure AD group management and implement CI/CD pipelines with version control and automated testing
Requirements
8+ years of experience with expert-level knowledge of Tableau and Tableau Cloud, including Tableau+ components
Proven capabilities in migrating Tableau from on-premise to Tableau Cloud
Strong expertise in SSO/SAML, SCIM, and Azure AD integration
Architectural background in enterprise data visualization ecosystems
Competency in integrating Tableau with platforms like Databricks
Expertise in data security, encryption, compliance, and system observability
Demonstrated skills in CI/CD automation and version control
Nice to have
Exposure to SailPoint IdAM integration
Background in retail MIS reporting and KPI dashboard analysis
Experience embedding Tableau into external tools
Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments such as AWS and Azure
Understanding of enterprise DataViz governance frameworks
