*Location:* Palo Alto, CA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
*Contract:* 3 months to start, with likely extension or FTE conversion
We’re seeking an experienced *Automotive HMI Designer* to create next-generation interaction experiences for ADAS and automated driving systems. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in *HMI & UX/UI design*, strong grounding in *human factors/ergonomics*, and proficiency with *Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma*, or similar tools. Familiarity with *industry standards (ISO 26262, ISO 15008, UNR171, UL 4600, FMVSS)* and hands-on experience with *prototyping, wireframing, and complex system design* are essential. This role requires 5+ years in interaction design, excellent communication, and the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
