Saint John School is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Full-Time High School Mathematics Instructor. With a supportive environment and a curriculum designed to engage and challenge learners, the successful candidate will play a vital role in shaping the mathematical proficiency of our students. *Primary Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Uphold the mission and philosophy of Catholic education; model Gospel values
* Support and participate in school faith life, service, and community activities
* Follow all school and Diocese policies and procedures
* Plan and deliver effective, standards-based instruction aligned to curriculum
* Use appropriate resources, technology, and varied instructional strategies to engage students
* Assess student learning using a range of formative and summative methods
* Maintain accurate records and a positive, well-managed classroom environment
* Communicate with parents regarding academic and behavioral concerns
* Demonstrate professionalism through reliability, organization, and adherence to deadlines
* Participate in required professional development
* *Keep administration informed of needs and concerns*
*Minimum Qualifications*
* Valid State of Ohio Teaching License or Certificate for the designated teaching assignment
* Compliance with the Diocese of Youngstown Policies for Teacher Licensure and assignment
