Role Overview
We are seeking a Mid-Level IT Administrator to support, maintain, and improve our IT infrastructure and end-user environment. This is a hands-on, on-site role suited to an experienced IT professional who is comfortable working independently while supporting a growing business.
The successful candidate must be able to travel to and work from our Birmingham office (B6 7JJ) five days per week and will play a key role in operational IT support, system administration, and maintaining security best practice.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide day-to-day IT support to users across the business (1st & 2nd line)
· Admin and support:
· Microsoft 365
· Microsoft Intune
· Windows 10 and Windows 11
· Windows Server 2022
· Hyper-V environments
· Exchange online
· Manage backups using Acronis
· Maintain Ubiquiti networking equipment
· User onboarding and offboarding
· Apply updates, resolve incidents, and maintain documentation
· Support Cyber Essentials and ISO 27001 aligned practices
Essential Skills & Experience
· Microsoft 365
· Microsoft Intune
· Windows 10 & Windows 11
· Windows Server 2022
· Hyper-V
· Exchange
· Acronis
· Ubiquiti networking
Desirable Experience
· Experience working towards Cyber Essentials
· Knowledge of ISO 27001
· Security hardening and policy enforcement
· IT documentation and audit support
Additional Requirements
Must be able to work on site five days per week at B6 7JJ
Must have the right to work in the UK
Pay: £26,500.00-£35,000.00 per year
