The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented attorney with experience in civil litigation who can manage a diverse caseload from inception through resolution. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable courtroom and trial experience in a supportive environment.
It is expected that the successful candidate will be in the office the majority of the time. The individual hired for this role should be a self-starter and willing to work independently as well as collaboratively.
*What you will do in the role*
* Assist current attorneys and move to eventual ownership of cases
* Attend court hearings.
* Be the direct point of contact for current clients, draft pleadings and develop further litigation skills and new clientele_._
*A good fit for this position*
* Iowa licensure or bar results pending.
* Someone interested in learning more about litigation;
* Stellar work ethic and interest in learning and growth; and
* Great communicator with good organization skills.

C*ompensation*
