CDL A Hazmat Driver - $24 Per Hour

TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local/regional operations based in Houston, TX.

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 

CDL A Details: 

• Schedule: Multiple shifts and schedules available

• Pay:  $24 Per hour

• Route Type: Local & Regional, 1 layover a week

• Equipment: Dry Van

• Handling: Heavy touch freight, pallet jack use

CDL A Minimum Requirements:  

• License: CDL A

• Experience: 9+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

• Endorsements: Hazmat

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 

CDL A Responsibilities:  

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes 

• Transport CDL A equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

• Perform required handling tasks including heavy touch freight with pallet jack use

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable]
