We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse RN (Registered Nurse) or LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) to join our dynamic healthcare team. *Responsibilities*
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems such as Epic or Cerner.
* Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and perform catheter care following aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
* Assist with diagnostic evaluations including laboratory specimen collection/processing, phlebotomy, and imaging procedures like sonography or mammography when applicable.
* Support complex procedures such as suturing, tube feeding, ventilator management, dialysis access, and cardiac catheterization preparation.
* Monitor patients’ conditions closely in various settings including ICU (Intensive Care Unit), trauma centers, or emergency rooms; manage acute pain and provide critical care when needed.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, and long-term care strategies for patients with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or behavioral health needs.
* Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain meticulous medical documentation to support quality assurance standards like NCQA (National Committee for Quality Assurance).
*Qualifications*
* Valid RN or LPN license with current state registration; additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are preferred.
* Experience working in diverse healthcare environments including hospital medicine, emergency medicine, ICU/trauma centers, outpatient clinics, or home & community care settings.
* Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks; proficiency in ICD-9/ICD-10 coding and medical terminology.
* Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology related to medication administration and pain management.
* Prior experience with specialized areas such as ophthalmology (botulinum toxin treatment), infectious disease care, occupational health, or senior/geriatric care is highly desirable.
* Excellent patient assessment skills with the ability to work effectively with people of all ages—including children in pediatric or neonatal units—and those with disabilities or developmental challenges.
* Ability to perform sterile procedures like venipuncture, IV insertion/injection administration and aseptic technique confidently. Join our team where your energy fuels compassionate patient care!
