Your main tasks
  • Shared responsibility for the entire F&B and controlling area
  • Ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
  • Responsible for purchasing beverages and wines
  • Monitoring and managing the cash register and inventory management system
  • Overseeing the reservation system
  • Preparing statistics and analyses
  • Writing menus and promotional offers
  • Creating duty rosters and work schedules
  • Responsible for quality assurance and service standards
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and training of service staff
  • Leading and motivating the team during shifts to ensure high performance
  • Handling guest feedback, complaints, and special requests in a professional manner
  • Assisting in budget planning and cost control (labor, food cost, beverage cost)
  • Monitoring KPIs and contributing to revenue optimization strategies
  • Ensuring compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations (HACCP standards)
  • Coordinating with kitchen and other departments to ensure seamless service flow
  • Supervising opening and closing procedures
  • Managing supplier relationships and negotiating with vendors when required
  • Assisting in organizing events, banquets, and private functions
  • Monitoring stock levels and conducting regular inventory checks
  • Implementing and maintaining upselling and cross-selling strategies
  • Supporting the development and execution of marketing initiatives and promotions
  • Ensuring proper handling of cash, billing, and daily financial reconciliation

Your profile
  • Completed vocational training as a restaurant specialist
  • 2+ years of professional experience in upscale hospitality, preferably in a similar position
  • Very good command of English and French;
    German language is an advantage
  • Experience with international clientele as well as solid knowledge of wines
  • Knowledge of the Micros POS system is an advantage
  • Responsible personality with a pleasant leadership style
