A well-established engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Highway Engineer to join their growing team in London.
This is a great opportunity to work on a wide range of projects across sectors including rail, power & energy and highways, with the chance to take on real responsibility from an early stage.
The Role
You’ll be involved in the delivery of highway schemes from concept through to detailed design and construction support, working within a collaborative and technically strong team.
Key responsibilities include:
• Highway alignment design
• Highway drainage design
• Supporting delivery of projects across multiple sectors
• Assisting with specifications for highway works
• Working on elements such as traffic signs, road markings, pavements and VRS design
Requirements
Essential:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in highway design
• Experience using Civil 3D (alignment design)
• Experience in highway drainage design
Desirable:
• Experience across a range of highway projects
• Familiarity with software such as InfoDrainage
• Knowledge of traffic signs, road markings, pavement and fencing design
• Experience preparing Specifications for Highway Works
Qualifications
• MEng or BEng in Civil Engineering
