Academic Physiatrist/PM&R Residency Program Director

The University of Louisville and UofL Health are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Academic Physiatrist to join our expanding Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (open rank). We welcome applicants with interests in general rehabilitation medicine and neurorehabilitation. Clinical opportunities are available in both inpatient and outpatient settings at Frazier Rehabilitation Institute, the U.S. News & World Report–recognized Top Rehabilitation Hospital in Kentucky.

This exceptional academic program offers abundant opportunity for teaching, research, and clinical practice in a collegial environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical, academic, and research interests in general rehabilitation medicine and/or neurorehabilitation as well as the desire to advance toward becoming our PM&R Residency Program Director, with a commitment to educate residents and treat patients. The PM&R Residency Program started over 50 years ago. It is a categorical program with four residents per year. We achieve a 100% match rate each year with all our graduating residents securing the fellowship of their choice. The University of Louisville and UofL Health offer competitive salary and outstanding benefits as well as a supportive and collaborative environment. Compensation and rank are commensurate with experience.
