The location in Montreal, (Quebec, Canada), is seeking talent to fill the position of Analyst, Sales Accounting . This job is full-time permanent.
Your challenges:
- Prepare month-end close activities (journal entries, validation).
- Perform quarterly analysis of revenue recognition.
- Complete monthly account reconciliations.
- Review interfaces to ensure the completeness of the financial statements.
- Analyze and validate sales rebates.
- Perform billing in various accounting systems and customer portals.
- Prepare and present monthly key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct ad hoc analyses.
- Communicate with various involved parties, both internal and external.
- Document supporting evidence for key controls in support of audits and reviews.
- Perform all other related tasks and analyses.
Your skills:

Excellent oral and written communication skills in both official languages.

Strong organizational, planning, rigor, and accuracy skills.

Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously, work under pressure, and meet deadlines while delivering quality results.

Ability to work as part of a team, communicate with other teams, and adapt quickly to change.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and interest in working with various IT systems (primarily SAP and LSS).

Excellent analytical skills.

Demonstrates flexibility and autonomy.
Your profile:
-
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
-
CPA designation is an asset.
-
Three to five years of experience in Accounting and/or Finance.
-
At least three years of relevant experience in a large company.
-
Knowledge of internal controls, particularly in the context of SarbanesOxley compliance.
