Med-Trans Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Helicopter Pilot Med-Trans EG to support critical patient transport operations within our Emergency Services department. In this role, you will safely operate a modern rotor-wing aircraft for both scene response and inter-facility transports, collaborating closely with medical crews and communications staff to ensure the rapid and reliable delivery of life-saving care. You will conduct all flights in strict accordance with FAA regulations, Med-Trans policies, and industry best practices, consistently maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and situational awareness. Daily responsibilities include pre-flight planning, weather evaluation, aircraft performance calculations, thorough pre- and post-flight inspections, monitoring of aircraft systems in flight, and meticulous documentation of flight and duty time. You will actively participate in ongoing safety programs, risk assessments, and debriefings, and immediately communicate any operational or mechanical concerns to maintenance and leadership. As a key member of a multidisciplinary air medical team, you will foster clear, respectful communication with flight paramedics, nurses, dispatchers, and hospital partners while adapting to rapidly changing clinical and environmental conditions. Med-Trans Corporation provides air medical transport services with a focus on safety and innovation, operating a modern fleet to ensure critical patient care in partnership with leading healthcare systems. The organization fosters a supportive, safety-first culture that values teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement. As a Helicopter Pilot Med-Trans EG, you will be encouraged to engage in recurrent training, simulator sessions, and professional development activities to refine your technical flying skills, maintain currency and proficiency, and stay current with evolving procedures and technologies. This position involves variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with the expectation of remaining mission-ready during assigned duty periods and complying with all duty-time and rest requirements. Candidates should bring strong airmanship, sound judgment, and a calm, patient-focused demeanor, understanding that each mission directly impacts patient outcomes and the communities we serve. If you are a dedicated rotor-wing pilot who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and is committed to safe, precise, and compassionate air medical operations, Med-Trans invites you to apply and contribute to our life-saving work.
