Are you passionate about games design and ready to inspire the next generation of creatives? We are seeking a Games Design Lead Tutor (Part-Time) to deliver engaging, industry-relevant teaching to young learners who are preparing for careers in the games and creative industries. About the Role
As a Games Design Lead Tutor, you will:
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to learners' needs and interests Support and track student progression, providing constructive feedback Promote safeguarding, safety, and wellbeing at all times Develop exciting opportunities for project collaboration across departments Organise enrichment activities, trips, and guest speaker events Engage in professional development, including a teacher training qualification if new to teaching
What We're Looking For
Essential qualities:
Highly organised, motivated, and committed to supporting young people Excellent teaching, communication, and classroom management skills Empathy and understanding of the challenges learners may face A degree or relevant qualification in the subject area Willingness to complete a recognised teacher training qualification (funded)
Desirable experience:
Professional background in the games or wider creative industries Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Skills in Autodesk Maya/Blender (modelling, rigging, texturing, animation) Experience with Unity or Unreal Engine Strong art, animation, or programming ability

This position is part-time for one year, with the potential to become full-time in August 2026 as the programme expands
