Solutions Architect Job ID: (91789) Position Type: Full-time Location: San Antonio TX (Onsite 100%) Must Have Experience: Solutions Architect within Auto or Property Causality Insurance 10–15 years of overall experience with pricing or rating platforms Strong hands-on experience with Earnix architecture for P&C pricing/rating Proven experience integrating Earnix with Guidewire or similar platform Experience with Rating Factors, Pricing Calculation, Risk Factors, or Risk Management Deep expertise in model onboarding, production change governance, and deployment controls Strong understanding of model lifecycle controls (versioning, approvals, audit traceability) Experience defining and implementing rate monitoring frameworks (KPIs, drift thresholds, alerts) Strong cross-functional leadership across Pricing/Actuarial, Product, Engineering, Data, and Risk Experience with documentation standards for pricing rules and validation Experience Level: 10-15 Years of experience as Solutions Architect 2–3+ years of pricing domain experience – P&C Experience with Rating Factors, Pricing Calculation, Risk Factors, or Risk Management Experience integrating Earnix with Guidewire / Duck Creek. Exposure to ModelOps / MLOps patterns for monitoring and deployment governance Preferred Skills: Exposure to ModelOps / MLOps patterns for model monitoring and governance Experience supporting audit readiness and regulatory compliance Strong data validation and premium reconciliation experience Experience defining platform operating models and decision cadence Job Description: Own the end-to-end Earnix solution architecture for P&C pricing/rating, ensuring alignment between business intent (pricing/actuarial) and technical execution across the pricing lifecycle Lead Earnix model onboarding and production change governance, including controlled deployment practices and governance for production changes Define the Earnix platform strategy/roadmap and operating model across Business + IT, including ways of working and decision cadence Establish and enforce model lifecycle controls such as versioning, approvals, documentation, and audit evidence/traceability for pricing models and configurations Define and implement rate monitoring frameworks including KPIs, drift thresholds, alerts, and governance cadence for ongoing performance oversight Define Earnix integration expectations and end-to-end workflow considerations for Earnix with Guidewire, including identifying risks and supporting design/planning approach Partner with data to validate premium outcomes and support reconciliation Lead stakeholder engagement across Pricing/Actuarial, Underwriting/Product, Engineering, Architecture, and Risk/Compliance to drive alignment, decisions, and delivery outcomes Drive documentation standards for Earnix rules and validation rules (where in scope), ensuring business/IT review and sign-off readiness Pay and Benefits Pay Range Minimum: 141,000k Pay Range Maximum: 218,000k HCLTech is an equal opportunity employer, committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees regardless of race, religion, sex, color, age, national origin, pregnancy, sexual orientation, physical disability or genetic information, military or veteran status, or any other protected classification, in accordance with federal, state, and/or local law. Compensation and Benefits A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
