Job Requirements

Education Requirements

  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license as per state regulations

Certifications Requirements

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of ICU or step-down experience in critical care settings
  • Prior experience working with ventilator patients

Other Requirements

  • Must be comfortable managing ventilator patients, providing compassionate patient care
  • Ability to work night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)
  • Must pass background check and comply with facility policies
  • Physical ability to stand and assist with patient handling

Job Description
  • Provide critical respiratory care to ventilator-dependent patients in an LTAC setting.
  • Manage and monitor ventilator patients, ensuring optimal respiratory support.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
  • Document patient progress and report significant changes to medical staff.

  • Maintain competency with EMR systems and documentation.
