We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. This role is critical in driving data-driven decision-making across the global Evinrude Parts and Oil business. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in data analysis, visualization, and pricing strategy, along with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Develop and maintain data models, reports, and dashboards to support business decision-making.

  • Perform advanced data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that impact business performance.

  • Experiment with advanced analytics techniques and build proof-of-concepts using tools like Python or R to uncover new opportunities for profitability and efficiency.

  • Optimize and transform data using SQL for accurate and efficient reporting.

  • Integrate and analyze multiple data sources to deliver comprehensive insights that drive smarter decisions-from pricing strategies to sales programs.

  • Lead annual pricing adjustments and conduct comprehensive pricing analysis.

  • Develop models and recommendations to optimize pricing strategies and

improve profitability.

  • Translate business requirements into actionable reporting solutions and design dashboards in Power BI or other BI tools.

  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all reporting solutions.

  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear, impactful data storytelling.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar analytics or BI role.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data transformation.

  • Hands-on experience building reports and dashboards in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

  • Basic understanding of data modeling principles.

  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills-comfortable simplifying complex data challenges into actionable insights.

  • Ability to document, analyze, and validate business requirements effectively.

  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently while managing multiple priorities.

  • Excellent business acumen and storytelling ability-turning data into clear, impactful narratives.

  • Strong communication skills to present insights effectively to stakeholders.
