*Job Summary*
My client seeks a senior consultant to serve as the program lead accountable for end-to-end delivery of the company’s investment data transformation, spanning Investment Accounting, Investment Operations, and Investment Analytics. This includes the successful implementation of IBOR and ABOR capabilities as a single source of truth for investment decision-making and financial reporting.
*Candidate requirements:*
This role requires a seasoned professional who combines deep domain credibility in investment operations and accounting with proven transformation leadership.
* 15+ years of experience in financial services, with significant depth in investment accounting, middle office operations, or investment operations—and a practical understanding of the processes targeted for transformation
* Demonstrated track record leading large-scale, multi-workstream transformation programs in complex, matrixed organizations
* Strong understanding of investment lifecycle processes, including front-to-back workflows, IBOR/ABOR constructs, reconciliation, and reporting
* Proven ability to lead through influence in environments with limited formal authority—earning trust with senior, domain-expert stakeholders
* Experience standing up program governance and integrated reporting frameworks in environments that previously lacked them
* Exceptional communication skills: able to translate between business, technology, and executive audiences
* Comfort operating in ambiguity—this role requires someone who can define the roadmap, not just execute against one
* Proven accountability for delivery outcomes—not just coordination, but ownership of results and follow-through to implementation
* Natural problem solver with a proven ability to workshop issues, facilitate solution design, and hold teams accountable for follow-through—not just document findings
* Ability to articulate a compelling vision, map out a multi-year program, and lay out a practical set of actions to gain traction and sustain momentum
* Experience operating in environments subject to financial reporting controls and audit requirements (e.g., ICFR/SOX-like environments)
*Preferred subject matter exposure/expertise:*
* Experience with Palantir Foundry, particularly in financial services or investment-related use cases
* Experience with Clearwater Analytics or similar investment accounting platforms
* Background in reinsurance, insurance, or asset management
* Familiarity with SAFe or agile delivery frameworks in a non-software context
* Experience coordinating legacy remediation or data quality initiatives alongside forward-looking transformation
*Early Success Indicators*
* Completed inventory and assessment of all investment-related initiatives with a clear view of scope, ownership, and interdependencies
* Delivered an integrated program plan and roadmap endorsed by the CFO and CIO
* Established biweekly reporting rhythm with actionable status and risk visibility
* Built productive working relationships with key stakeholders across Investment Accounting, Operations, and Analytics
* Identified quick wins and gaps that demonstrate the value of a coordinated approach
