*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Golden healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care for our pediatric clients in the school and home setting. This role requires a versatile nurse with at least 6 months experience and the desire to be part of a winning team that supports you and your client. The candidate will utilize their expertise in patient assessment, medication administration, medical documentation and team collaboration
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including vital signs and physical assessments
* Administer medications accurately while adhering to doctor's orders and individualized plan of care
* Perform specialized procedures such as catheterization, tube feeding, seizure management, diabetic management, and respiratory assessment and interventions
* Document all patient interactions thoroughly using electronic health record systems
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
* Provide education on disease management, medication use, nutrition, and health coaching tailored to patient and family needs
* Ensure infection control practices are maintained according to agency standards
*Skills*
* Patient assessment techniques including vital signs monitoring and physical examinations
* Excellent communication skills for working with diverse populations including children with disabilities or developmental delays
* Ability to work effectively in providing one to one care
* Follow and document the patient's plan of care
* Administer medications, treatments, and therapies
* Perform routine assessments and monitor changes in condition
