TeleSolv Consulting
is seeking an experienced
Information Technology Project Manager
to support large-scale government IT transformation initiatives in a remote capacity.
This position supports the federal government, and all applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
The
Information Technology Project Manager
plays a critical role in leading enterprise-level system modernization efforts and ensuring successful delivery of complex IT initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities who can coordinate cross-functional teams, manage vendors, and drive projects from conception through implementation while maintaining strict adherence to timelines, budgets, and governance standards.
This position supports government operations focused on delivering efficient, scalable, and modernized technology solutions that enhance program performance and service delivery.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise information system transformation projects. Provide strategic direction and guidance for IT initiatives and long-term technology planning. Define business and technical requirements by collaborating with product owners, subject matter experts, and development teams. Manage highly complex, large-scale enterprise IT projects as well as smaller initiatives. Coordinate internal development teams and external vendors to ensure successful solution delivery. Establish and maintain project governance frameworks and monitoring controls. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget constraints. Mentor personnel on project management best practices and support knowledge transfer efforts. Support the evolution of internal project management capabilities through training and guidance.
Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. Citizen. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent experience. Proven experience managing complex IT projects and delivering technology solutions successfully. Experience with enterprise-level system implementations and modernization efforts. Knowledge of software development methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps. Strong understanding of project governance, risk management, and performance tracking. Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements. Experience working with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Knowledge of program-specific policies, procedures, and operational environments is preferred.

Background Investigation:
This position requires that you obtain a background investigation. As part of this process, the government will perform a criminal, credit, tax, employment, and drug history background check.
