Pharmacy Technician II

Job Summary

Performs functions of pharmacy technician under supervision of pharmacist. Assists Pharmacist in safety and preparing medications to patients. Performs designated technical functions to facilitate pharmacy operations in a manner consistent with organizational standards and values. Abides by government, state and local rules and regulations.

Education

• Preferred
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

Experience:

• Preferred
  • One year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician

Certification/Licensure:

• Required
  • Cert Pharmacy Tech/CPT
  • Registered Pharmacy Tech
  • Immunization Certification
