Job Description:

4LEAF is seeking qualified Construction Managers for Public Works projects. The ideal candidate will be able to perform contract administration tasks, observe and evaluate the contractor's compliance with the intent of the construction documents, and evaluate the contractor’s proposed remedial actions as required for public works-type projects.


Responsibilities:

The following represents the normal responsibilities associated with providing construction management during the construction phase of a project:


  • Provide technical and administrative management services for the project, manage all contract activities related to the construction of the project, and coordinate with the State Representative, Project Manager (PM) and Design Lead on all correspondence.
  • Perform the duties of a Construction Manager (CM), including monitoring construction, scheduling, quality calculations, estimates, coordinate materials and sampling control, and ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, permits and agreements.
  • Receive, review, and respond to Requests for Information (RFI) submittals. 
  • Change Order Requests (COR’s) and notices of potential claim.
  • Coordinate all construction activities with applicable agency staff.
  • Conduct regular progress meetings with project team.
  • Maintain project communication and documentation.
