Responsibilities:Join Albuquerque Ambulance Services (AAS) as a Paramedic with our Santa Fe team and become a vital part of New Mexico's leading emergency medical response agency!

Our Santa Fe based operation consists of an ALS unit based out of the Presbyterian Santa Fe Facility. This Paramedic unit has a slower pace as it is station based, providing northern New Mexico interfacility transfer ( IFT ) coverage through a critical care model.

It's a perfect change of pace outside of a 911 response and within the family atmosphere of our supportive AAS team.

Work Schedule: (3) 12-hour shifts in Days (0700-1900), Nights (1900-0700), or Swings (1400-0200)

Sign on bonuses $4,000-$7,500 depending on level of experience and Relocation bonus of $3,500-$6,000, available for qualified candidates .

How you support the community.Provides Critical Care level care for Inter-facility transportation for injured and/or ill patients.Documents and maintains accurate medical records for patient encounters through use of ImageTrend Elite.Operates emergency vehicles in a safe manner, consistent with EVOC.

Qualifications:MUST HAVE FLIGHT PARAMEDIC CERTIFICATION (FPC) OR BE WILLING TO OBTAIN IT.High School Diploma/GED equivalent requiredCurrent New Mexico driver's license is required without relevant restrictions within 30 days of hire.Must be at least 18 years of age with a driving record insurable per Presbyterian policyNew Mexico Paramedic license required NM EMS BureauMust have current ACLS and BLS through AHA, ASHI, or Red CrossMust be up to date with FEMA 100, 200, 700 coursesEMT experience preferredMust pass physical abilities assessmentMust obtain medical examiner certification/DOT certification as part of on-boarding.
